I find myself loving them more and more because you can read a bunch of stories in one sitting. A great topic plus an array of authors means that there’s usually more hits than misses in any given collection.

I used to dislike both anthologies and novellas. They felt incomplete and the characters underdeveloped but the quality of the stories and writing the past few years is so good that I actually prefer them now.
ReplyDeleteYes, I used to be the same way. I've really been loving anthologies lately because there's always more hits versus misses in them especially if there's a good theme. Novellas still drive me crazy though especially if I don't know a author has done them because then I feel like I have to own them or I'll be missing a piece of the story...
